What is the Summer Mobility Series?

The Summer Mobility Series is a 12-week training program designed to help you assess and improve both your flexibility and strength from head to toe.

Each week we will focus on a different area of the body, drawing on a variety of mobilization techniques, including Barefoot Training, Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), ELDOA Method, and Myofascial Stretching:

Week 1: Barefoot Training & Breathing

Week 2: Ankle & Knee

Week 3: Hip (Part 1)

Week 4: Lumbar Spine (lower back)

Week 5: Hip (Part 2)

Week 6: Thoracic Spine (mid/upper back)

Week 7: Shoulder (Part 1)

Week 8: Cervical Spine (neck)

Week 9: Shoulder (Part 2)

Week 10: Scapulae

Week 11: Elbow & Wrist

Week 12: Self-Assessment & Mobility Plan

By the end of this series, you will know how to create your own, personalized mobility routine moving forward!

Who is this program for?

Whether you’ve been feeling tight and stiff, weak and achy, or you just want to stay on top of your joint health, this program is for you.

Maybe you’re looking to develop a doable mobility routine that is specific to your individual needs, but working with a trainer 1-1 is not an option right now.

The Summer Mobility Series will teach you stretches and exercises you can do to maintain your joint health for years to come. It will also provide you a solid foundation for all of your other activities, enhancing how your body moves and functions in your everyday life.

What do the classes entail?

You will log into Zoom at the start of class (or a few minutes before if you have questions or wish to notify me of anything) and we will get going.

Each 30-minute class includes a warm up, joint-specific strength training, and a cool down. Depending on how you’re feeling on a given day, you can take the intensity up or down. I am always available after class should you have any questions or need clarification on any of the exercises.

What equipment do I need?

  • 2 yoga blocks

  • 2 tennis balls (or dryer balls)

  • a dowel rod (or broomstick)

  • knee padding

    • I use these but a doubled up mat may suffice

  • a mat

  • a chair

  • pen and paper

  • some wall space

Are classes recorded?

Yes Classes are recorded and uploaded to Vimeo by 10am PT on the same day. Recordings for the summer series will remain up through September 27, 2024.
